What is currently active
The site and hosting service may use essential technical storage, security mechanisms and server logs to deliver pages safely. The hosting platform may also provide aggregate traffic measurements.
Remembering your newsletter choice
Newsletter signup is available within our product and guide pages. The newsletter invitation only opens when you choose “Get our best finds”; it does not interrupt browsing automatically.
Older site versions saved a local dismissal expiry called renvaryn_newsletter_popup_until. It contains no email address and is no longer used. Clearing site data does not unsubscribe you. Use the unsubscribe link in an email or contact hello@renvaryn.com to unsubscribe or withdraw a pending request.
Optional analytics and advertising
Optional first-party analytics stays off until you choose “Allow analytics”. It measures visits, pages, visible engagement, buying-button exposure, retailer clicks and successfully completed new signups. Eligible affiliate links share random click references with Awin or Impact so returned commissions can be attributed to the original measured visit. We do not add advertising pixels or use this information for retargeting.
The essential preference renvaryn_analytics_choice remembers your allow or decline choice, notice version and expiry for up to 180 days. It contains no visitor identifier or email address. After consent, renvaryn_browser_v2 holds a random browser identifier for up to 90 days; renvaryn_session_v2 holds a random session identifier, activity time, public landing path and recognised campaign labels. A session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. These optional values are cleared when you withdraw consent. Where storage is blocked, recognition lasts only in memory until reload.
The analytics choice popup appears on entry when this browser has no current choice. Use “Analytics choices” in the footer to change your decision. Declining keeps browsing, newsletter signup and ordinary affiliate links available. See the privacy notice for storage providers, network sharing and server retention.
Owner and testing browsers can keep an existing measurement exclusion. Its non-identifying renvaryn_measurement_exclusion preference contains only the choice, version and expiry and lasts up to 180 days. The control is available in the private reporting page under Details & maintenance, rather than in the public analytics popup. It does not change analytics consent or historical records. Each browser needs its own setting; clearing site storage removes it, and blocked storage limits it to the current page session. Local and preview builds do not collect optional measurement.
Retailer and affiliate links
Renvaryn product links take you to external retailer websites. The retailer or affiliate network may use cookies after you follow the link to remember the referral, operate checkout or measure a qualifying order. Those cookies are controlled by the external organisations and governed by their own notices.
Managing your browser
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential technology may prevent some websites from working correctly.
Updates
This page will be updated before we change the purposes of optional measurement or introduce additional non-essential tracking.
